All enrolled FETAC learners whose contact details the College
has on file, will be notified by TEXT MESSAGE, starting today, of details of
the assigned alternate provider to contact.
LEARNERS SHOULD MAKE DIRECT CONTACT BY EMAIL WITH THE NAMED
PROVIDER, BY THE DEADLINE DATE, USING THE EMAIL ADDRESS SUPPLIED IN THEIR TEXT.
Each
individual learner will be required to provide proof of identity, receipt of
payment and relevant details about the programme in which they were
participating.
These
alternate providers will offer similar programmes to that offered by Abbey
College Ltd but learners should note that the providers are not obliged to
offer identical arrangements to those in place in Abbey College Ltd. Amongst
other things, dates, duration and times of courses may vary.
Abbey
College Ltd has already supplied attendance records to the relevant authorities
for those learners transferring to other providers. Details of start and finish
dates and attendance records will also have been supplied to the provider to
which each learner is being assigned.
The
management will continue to work with FETAC and the alternative providers to
ensure that learners are accommodated under Protection for Learner
arrangements.
FETAC is aware that Abbey
College Ltd notified learners that component certificates were available for
collection from the college. FETAC will now make alternative arrangements for
learners to collect these certificates and arrangements will be finalised by 19
August.
